Daryl Jacobs Killed in a Crash on January 17, 2021 in St. Louis County, Missouri

Daryl Jacobs Jr of Florissant, MO was killed on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at 8:07PM in St. Louis County, Missouri. Jacobs is a 36-year-old man.

FATALITY REPORT - VEHICLE 1 WAS TRAVELING NORTHBOUND ON I-170 AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED. DRIVER 1 LOST CONTROL. VEHICLE 1 TRAVELED OFF THE ROADWAY, DOWN INTO A DITCH, AND OVERTURNED. DRIVER 1 FATALITY PRONOUNCED ON SCENE BY BERKELEY EMS PERSONNEL AT 2018 HOURS. ASSISTED BY MSGT. M. E. BRONIEC (598) AND TPR. S. W. WULSER (897).

Injuries

Jacobs's injuries were fatal. Jacobs was taken by Lonning Mortuary Service to St. Louis County Morgue.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2014 Jeep Wrangler driven by Jacobs was total. It was removed by Towed To/By A2B Towing.

How To Get the Highway Patrol Report

Tpr E R Besserud of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210027622 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
