ACCIDENT OCCURRED AS NR1 WAS NORTHBOUND ON MO148 AND NR2 WAS WESTBOUND ON 210TH STREET. NR1 WAS SLOWING DOWN AND ATTEMPTING TO PASS ANOTHER MOTORIST THAT WAS TURNING EASTBOUND ONTO A GRAVEL ROAD. NR2 FAILED TO YIELD AFTER STOPPING AT A STOP SIGN. NR1 STRUCK NR2 IN THE DRIVERS DOOR. NR1 CAME TO REST ON ITS WHEELS ON MO148 FACING SOUTHWEST. NR2 CAME TO REST ON ITS WHEELS AGAINST A FENCE WEST OF MO148. ASSISTED BY NODAWAY COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, MARYVIILLE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY, MARYVILLE FIRE DEPARTMENT, AND PICKERING FIRE DEPARTMENT.

Injuries

Swift's injuries were serious. Swift was taken by Life-Flight Air Ambulance to Ku Medical Center.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2015 Nissan Altima driven by Swift was total. It was removed by Towed By/To Kizer Towing Of Maryville. The damage to the 2010 Ford Escape driven by Foot was total. It was removed by Towed By/To Walkers Towing Of Maryville.

How To Get the Highway Patrol Report

Cpl B E Maudlin of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 200517536 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
