Benjamin Mundy Killed in a Crash on October 12, 2020 in Clay County, Missouri

Benjamin C Mundy of Liberty, MO was killed on Monday, October 12, 2020 at 2:47PM in Clay County, Missouri. Mundy is a 17-year-old boy.

VEH 1 RAN OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY, OVERCORRECTED, BEGAN SKIDDING, RAN OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY, OVERTURNED AND STRUCK A TREE. PASSENGER 1 WAS PRONOUNCED AT 1533 BY DR COULSON AT LIBERTY HOSPITAL. ASSISTED BY TPR Z D THOMAS /391/, TPR C D KARR /929/, LIBERTY POLICE DEPARTMENT AND CLAY COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT.

Injuries

Mundy's injuries were fatal. Mundy was taken by Liberty Ems to Liberty Hospital.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2016 Gmc Canyon driven by Davidson was total. It was removed by Towed By Liberty Tow.

How To Get the Highway Patrol Report

Tpr C A Adkison and M C I U Team Sgt G D Ward of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 200512292 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
