Alton McKinnon Injured in a Crash on October 29, 2020 in Marion County, Missouri

Alton L McKinnon of Collins, GA was injured on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 4:20PM in Marion County, Missouri. McKinnon is a 41-year-old man.

VEHICLE 1 STRUCK VEHICLE 2 IN THE REAR AND TRAVELED OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY. VEHICLE 1 THEN CROSSED THE MEDIAN AND CAME TO REST IN THE EASTBOUND LANES. ASSISTED BY CPL HENRY #1372, THE MARION COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE, MONROE CITY FIRE DEPARTMENT, AND MONROE CITY AMBULANCE.

Injuries

McKinnon's injuries were minor. McKinnon was taken by Monroe City Ambulance to Hannibal Regional Hospital.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2019 Volvo driven by Mckinnon was total. It was removed by Towed By Heartland. The damage to the 1995 International driven by Meranda was moderate. It was removed by Driven From Scene.

How To Get the Highway Patrol Report

Msgt Bartels of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 200541318 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
