CRASH OCCURRED AS VEH 2 AND VEH 1 WERE WESTBOUND ON US-36. VEH 1 ATTEMPTED TO PASS VEH 2 AND STRUCK THE DRIVER SIDE REAR TIRE. VEH 2 TRAVELED INTO THE MEDIAN AND OVERTURNED. VEH 2 CAME TO REST ON ITS SIDE FACING EAST. VEH 1 TRAVELED OFF THE NORTH SIDE OF US-36 AND CAME TO REST ON ITS WHEELS IN THE DITCH FACING NORTHEAST. ASSISTED BY TPR. J.C. Injuries

Shonk's injuries were minor. Shonk was taken by Chillicothe Ems to Hederick Medical Center.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2004 John Deere 9860 Combine driven by Shonk was total. It was removed by Towed By Gaberialson'S Tow. The damage to the 2014 Volvo Tractor driven by Deal was extensive. It was removed by Towed By Scottys.

How To Get the Highway Patrol Report

Sgt J J Rongey of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 200487118 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
