Cody Emory Killed in a Crash on October 01, 2020 in Franklin County, Missouri

Cody L Emory of Union, MO was killed on Thursday, October 01, 2020 at 5:15AM in Franklin County, Missouri. Emory is a 29-year-old man.

FATALITY REPORT - VEHICLE #1 WAS TRAVELING EASTBOUND ON ROUTE V. VEHICLE #1 WAS TRAVELING TOO FAST TO NEGOTIATE A CURVE IN THE ROADWAY AND TRAVELED OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF ROADWAY. VEHICLE #1 RETURNED TO THE ROADWAY, CROSSED THE CENTER LINE, THEN TRAVELED OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY. VEHICLE #1 OVERTURNED AND THE RIGHT SIDE OF VEHICLE #1 STRUCK A TREE. Injuries

Emory's injuries were fatal. Emory was taken to Russell Colonial Funeral Home Transported To St Louis County Morgue.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier driven by Emory was total. It was removed by Towed To/By Sturms Towing.

How To Get the Highway Patrol Report

Tpr H H Hoemann of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 200490364 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
