CRASH OCCURRED AS VEH 1 WAS PULLING OUT OF A PRIVATE DRIVE ON THE WEST SIDE OF US-71. VEH 1 TRAVELED ACROSS BOTH LANES OF TRAFFIC AND INTO A DITCH ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE ROADWAY. VEH 1 OVERTURNED AND CAME TO REST ON ITS DRIVER SIDE FACING NORTHEAST. ASSISTED BY NODAWAY COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE, AND CLARINDA FIRE DEPARTMENT.

Injuries

Giesmann's injuries were minor. Giesmann was taken by Clarinda Regional Health Services Ambulance to Clarinda Regional Health Services Hospital.

The police said the damage to the 2011 Toyota Sienna driven by Giesmann was moderate. It was removed by Towed By Snyder Collision In Clarinda , Ia.
