Roy Popp Injured in a Crash on August 25, 2020 in Audrain County, Missouri

Roy G Popp of Martinsburg, MO was injured on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at 9:00PM in Audrain County, Missouri. Popp is a 89-year-old man.

The crash happened here: Route U 2/10th mile east of County Road 711.

In the crash, Popp was a driver. The police described the crash like this:

VEHICLE 1 TRAVELLED OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY, CAUSING ITS LOAD TO SHIFT. VEHICLE 1 OVERTURNED.

Injuries

Popp's injuries were minor. Popp was taken by Audrain County Ambulance to University Hospital.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 1968 Ford Dumptruck driven by Popp was extensive. It was removed by Towed By A1 Towing.

The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
