Ronald Jones Injured in a Crash on August 29, 2020 in Howard County, Missouri

Ronald R Jones of Boonville, MO was injured on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 11:55PM in Howard County, Missouri. Jones is a 62-year-old man.

OCCURRED AS SUBJECT IGNORED SEVERAL WARNING DEVICES INDICATING THE ROADWAY WAS CLOSED. THE FRONT OF VEHICLE 1 COLLIDED WITH A BACKHOE THAT WAS EXTENDED OVER THE ROADWAY TO PREVENT VEHICLES FROM GOING OVER A NEWLY-CONSTRUCTED BRIDGE.

Jones's injuries were minor. Jones was taken by Ambulance to University Hospital In Columbia.

The police said the damage to the 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by Jones was total. It was removed by Towed By Korte'S Towing.

Tpr T G Johnson Assisted By Howard County Sheriffs Office of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 200426240 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
