Chris Tripp Injured in a Crash on September 26, 2019 in Newton County, Missouri

Chris P Tripp of Neosho, Missouri was injured on Thursday, September 26th 2019 at 2:50 pm in Newton County, Missouri. Tripp is a 58-year-old man.

FATALITY REPORT - THIS IS TROOP D'S 81ST FATALITY FOR 2019. NEXT OF KIN NOTIFIED. CRASH OCCURRED AS VEHICLE 2 [THE 1981 GMC SIERRA DRIVEN BY CHRIS TRIPP] WAS TRAVELING NORTHBOUND ON RTE C, VEHICLE 1 [THE 2016 FORD FUSION DRIVEN BY MORGAN DAVIS] FAILED TO YIELD AND COLLIDED WITH VEHICLE 2 [THE 1981 GMC SIERRA DRIVEN BY CHRIS TRIPP]. VEHICLE 2 [THE 1981 GMC SIERRA DRIVEN BY CHRIS TRIPP] OVERTURNED, EJECTING THE PASSENGER. SUBJECT PRONOUNCED BY DR PACE AT MERCY HOSPITAL AT 1603 HOURS. Injuries

Tripp's injuries were moderate. Tripp was taken by EMS to Mercy Joplin.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2016 Ford Fusion driven by Morgan Davis was moderate. It was removed by Dougs Wrecker. The damage to the 1981 GMC Sierra driven by Chris Tripp was total. It was removed by Chucks Towing.

How To Get the Highway Patrol Report

Trooper J T Day of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 190565972 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $5.75 for each certified report (certification required for court). But you can call 877-925-1969 to request a free copy of the report. The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted or blacked out.
