ALL 3 SUBJECTS WERE PRONOUNCED DECEASED AT THE SCENE BY POLK COUNTY CORONER MELISSA BRITTON AT 1132 HRS. AS REQUIRED BY LAW THE SURVIVING DRIVER WAS TESTED FOR ALCOHOL. NEXT OF KIN NOTIFIED

Castaldi's injuries were minor. Castaldi was taken to Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, Mo.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2001 GMC G 3500 Van driven by Bradley Bailey was total. It was removed by B and B Towing of Bolivar.

The Missouri Highway Patrol Major Crash Investigation Unit (MCIU) responded to this crash. Each member of the MCIU is a certified crash reconstructionist. Courts consider them experts in traffic crash investigations. They produce an accident reconstruction report—a detailed document with calculations, photographs, and witness statements—that may cost $100 or more. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted or blacked out.
