Samons's injuries were minor. Samons was taken by ambulance to Southeast Health of Ripley County, Doniphan, Mo.

The police said the damage to the 2012 Chevrolet Impala driven by Hayden Samons was total. It was removed by Randys Wrecker Doniphan Mo.
