CRASH OCCURRED AS VEH 1 WAS SOUTHBOUND AND VEH 2 WAS NORTHBOUND ON RT EE NORTH OF NEW HAMPTON. VEH 1 RAN OFF THE WEST SIDE OF THE ROADWAY, RETURNED TO ROADWAY, CROSSED THE CENTER LINE. IMPACT OCCURRED AS FRONT DRIVER SIDE OF VEH 1 STRUCK THE DRIVERS SIDE OF THE TOWED UNIT OF VEH 2. AFTER IMPACT VEH 1 RAN OFF THE EAST SIDE OF THE ROADWAY, OVERTURNED, AND CAME TO REST ON ITS DRIVER'S SIDE IN THE DITCH, CAUGHT FIRE, AND BECAME FULLY ENGULFED. AFTER IMPACT, THE TOWED UNIT OF VEH 2 SEPARATED FROM VEH 2, RAN OFF THE EAST SIDE OF THE ROADWAY, AND OVERTURNED, COMING TO FINAL REST ON ITS PASSENGER SIDE. VEH 2 CAME TO A CONTROLLED STOP. ASSISTED BY THE HARRISON COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT.
Injuries
Stevens's injuries were minor. Stevens was taken by Nta Ambulance to Harrison County Community Hospital.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the damage to the 2022 Ford F-350 driven by Gebhards was moderate. It was removed by Driven From Scene. The damage to the 1975 Chevrolet Dump Truck driven by Stevens was total. It was removed by Will Be Towed By Young'S Towing Of Eagleville.
How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
Tpr T B Heintz of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 220589587 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
