Tylar A Green of Nevada, MO was killed on Monday, September 12, 2022 at 12:12AM in Vernon County, Missouri. Green is a 19-year-old man.

FATALITY CRASH - NEXT OF KIN NOTIFIED - THIS IS TROOP D'S 94TH, 95TH AND 96TH FATALITIES FOR 2022. CRASH OCCURRED AS VEHICLE 1 FAILED TO STOP FOR STOP SIGN AND STRUCK VEHICLE 2 IN THE SIDE. BOTH VEHICLES TRAVELED OFF NORTH SIDE OF ROADWAY. A JUVENILE AND AN ADULT OCCUPANT FROM VEHICLE 1 WERE PRONOUNCED ON SCENE AT 0012 HOURS BY VERNON COUNTY CORONER DAVID FERRY. DRIVER OF VEHICLE 1 PRONOUNCED AT COX SOUTH AT 0440 HOURS BY DR STUPPY. AS REQUIRED BY STATE LAW SURVIVING DRIVER WAS TESTED FOR ALCOHOL. ASSISTED BY MCIU TEAM #3 SGT S. R. RICHARDSON /753/ AND THE VERNON COUNTY SHERIFF DEPARTMENT. CORRECTED REPORT TO INDICATE THAT DRIVER #2 SOUGHT MEDICAL TREATMENT AFTER THE CRASH.

Injuries

Green's injuries were fatal. Green was taken to Transported To Cox South.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2013 Ford F-150 driven by Green was total. It was removed by Towed By Garwood'S Wrecker. The damage to the 2014 Peterbilt driven by King was moderate. It was removed by Towed By Garwood'S Wrecker.

How To Get the Highway Patrol Report

Tpr J W Krehbiel of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 220489191 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
