CRASH OCCURRED AS VEHICLE #1 WAS TRAVELLING SOUTHBOUND, CROSSED THE CENTER MEDIAN INTO THE NORTHBOUND LANE AND STRUCK VEHICLE #2. VEHICLE #3 ATTEMPTED TO AVOID VEHICLE #1 BY TRAVELLING INTO THE MEDIAN, STRUCK THE DRIVER'S SIDE OF VEHICLE #1. VEHICLE #1 CAME TO REST IN THE MEDIAN AND CAUGHT FIRE. DRIVER #1 WAS PRONOUNCED DECEASED AT THE SCENE BY VERNON COUNTY CORONER DAVID FERRY AT 1315 HOURS. ASSISTED BY: CPL. J. S. BAIRD #143, THE VERNON COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE, NEVADA FIRE DEPARTMENT AND THE COMPTON JUNCTION FIRE DEPARTMENT.

Injuries

Bealer's injuries were fatal. Bealer was taken to Ferry Funeral Home In Nevada.

The police said the damage to the 2020 Hyundai Tuscon driven by Campos was extensive. It was removed by Tcb Towing Of Nevada. The damage to the 2019 Honda Pilot driven by Schafer was total. It was removed by Tcb Towing Of Nevada. The damage to the 2017 Nissan Altima driven by Bealer was total. It was removed by Tcb Towing Of Nevada.

How To Get the Highway Patrol Report

Msgt M T Polodna and Major Crash Investigation Unit Tpr M K Eden of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 220356960 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
