Keith Wiemelt Killed in a Crash on July 18, 2022 in Marion County, Missouri

Keith A Wiemelt of Quincy, IL was killed on Monday, July 18, 2022 at 9:20PM in Marion County, Missouri. Wiemelt is a 42-year-old man.

FATALITY ACCIDENT -- VEHICLE 01 WAS NORTHBOUND AND FAILED TO NEGOTIATE A CURVE, RAN OFF RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY, VAULTED OVER A COUNTY ROAD AND OVERTURNED COMING TO REST ON ITS DRIVER'S SIDE. DRIVER 01 PRONOUNCED DECEASED AT HANNIBAL REGIONAL HOSPITAL AT 2250 HOURS BY DR ARHAM HUSSAIN.

Injuries

Wiemelt's injuries were fatal. Wiemelt was taken by Monroe City Ambulance to Hannibal Regional Hospital.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2003 Toyota Highlander driven by Wiemelt was total. It was removed by Towed By Turpin'S Automotive Of Monroe City.

Msgt Berry Assisted By Tpr Fuller the Marion County Sheriffs Department Monroe City Ambulance and Air Evac of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 220382760 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
