Cowell's injuries were serious. Cowell was taken by Eureka Fire Protection District to Mercy Hospital St Louis.

The police said the damage to the 2004 Toyota Tundra driven by Barrett was minor. It was removed by Driven From Scene. The damage to the 2018 Lincoln Continental driven by Cimaglio was minor. It was removed by Driven From Scene. The damage to the 2014 Chevrolet Spark driven by Elbert was minor. It was removed by Driven From Scene. The damage to the 2011 Gmc Sierra driven by Cowell was total. It was removed by Mcnamara Towing.
How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
Cpl J Bondurant of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 220380171 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
