Cheyanne M Rike of Festus, MO was injured on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at 9:08AM in Jefferson County, Missouri. Rike is a 20-year-old woman.

VEHICLE 1 BEGAN SLIDING ON THE WET PAVEMENT. VEHICLE 1 CROSSED THE CENTER OF THE ROAD AND DRIVER 1 ATTEMPTED TO CORRECT VEHICLE 1 BY STEERING TO THE RIGHT AND APPLYING THE BRAKES. VEHICLE 1 BEGAN ROTATING COUNTER CLOCK-WISE, CROSSING THE CENTER LINE, AND TRAVELED OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY. THE RIGHT REAR END OF VEHICLE 1 STRUCK A UTILITY POLE, A CHAINLINK FENCE, AND A TREE. ASSISTED BY TPR. C. W. CHERRY (625).
Injuries
Rike's injuries were moderate. Rike was taken by Joachim Plattin Ambulance District to Mercy Hospital - Jefferson.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the damage to the 2006 Toyota Matrix driven by Rike was extensive. It was removed by Towed To/By Pippin'S Towing.
How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
Tpr D A Crowell of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 220379985 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
