VEH#1 CAME TO CONTROLLED STOPPED IN THE ROADWAY FACING EAST. VEH#2 TRAVELLED OFF THE NORTH SIDE OF THE ROADWAY AND CAME TO REST IN THE DITCH FACING EAST. ASSISTED BY HARRISON COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT AND NORTH HARRISON FIRE DEPARTMENT.
Injuries
Benitez's injuries were moderate. Benitez was taken by North Harrison Ambulance to Harrison County Community Hospital In Bethany, Mo.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the damage to the 2011 Ford Taurus driven by Welcher was moderate. It was removed by Driven From The Scene. The damage to the 2012 Hyundai Elantra driven by Morris was moderate. It was removed by Secured Roadside At The Scene.
How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
Sgt B R Hilliard of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 220163439 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
