Injuries
Tognozzi's injuries were fatal. Tognozzi was taken to Transported To Boone County Medical Examiners Office.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the damage to the 2009 Nissan Altima driven by Tognozzi was total. It was removed by Towed By I70 Towing. The damage to the 2021 Freightliner Cascadia driven by Hadley was minor. It was removed by Towed By I70 Towing.
How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
Cpl J W Turner of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 220095634 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report.
