VEHICLE 1 SPUN OUT OF CONTROL ON THE ICY ROADWAY AND CAME TO A STOP ON THE INTERSTATE, THEN VEHICLE 1 WAS STRUCK BY VEHICLE 2. THE RIGHT FRONT OF VEHICLE 2 STRUCK THE RIGHT REAR OF VEHICLE 1. BOTH VEHICLES CAME TO REST ON THE NORTH BOUND SHOULDER, WITH VEHICLE 1 FACING SOUTH, AND VEHICLE 2 FACING NORTH. ASSISTED BY HARRISON COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT AND EAGLEVILLE FIRST RESPONDERS.
Injuries
Myers's injuries were minor. Myers was taken by North Harrison Ambulance Service to Harrison County Community Hospital.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the damage to the 2011 Nissan Frontier driven by Myers was extensive. It was removed by Removed By Youngs Of Eagleville. The damage to the 2004 Honda Accord driven by Todd was extensive. It was removed by Towed By Youngs Of Eagleville.
How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
Tpr B L Israel of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 220012088 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
