VEHICLE 2 CHANGED LANES IN FRONT OF VEHICLE 1 AND DRIVER 1 BRAKED AND VEERED TO THE RIGHT CAUSING VEHICLE 1 TO SLIDE. THE FRONT OF VEHICLE 1 STRUCK THE TOWED UNIT OF VEHICLE 2. VEHICLE 1 TRAVELED OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY AND STRUCK THE GUARDRAIL. VEHICLE 2 CONTINUED EASTBOUND ON INTERSTATE 70 AND LEFT THE SCENE.
Injuries
Bougeno's injuries were minor. Bougeno was taken to Checked By Paramedics On Scene.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the damage to the 2009 Ford F-150 driven by Bougeno was moderate. It was removed by Towed By/To Approved Towing. The damage to the Unknown Tractor Trailer driven by Unknown was minor. It was removed by Left The Scene.
How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
Cpl A D Gadberry of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210653181 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
