CRASH OCCURRED AS VEHICLES WERE TRAVELING NORTHBOUND ON I49. A GUST OF WIND CAUSED VEHICLE1 TO TRAVEL INTO THE RIGHT LANE WHERE IT STRUCK VEHICLE2. VEHICLE2 DID NOT STOP. VEHICLE1 TRAVELED OFF LEFT SIDE OF THE ROAD AND STRUCK THE MEDIAN CABLE BEFORE RETURNING TO THE ROAD. VEHICLE1 THEN CROSSED THE CENTERLINE, TRAVELED OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROAD, AND CAME TO REST. ASSISTED BY CASS COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE.

Injuries

Holland's injuries were minor. Holland was taken by Belton Fire And Ems to Cass Regional Medical Center.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2020 Ford Eco Sport driven by Holland was total. It was removed by Towed By J'S Southland. The damage to the Unknown driven by No driver was minor. It was removed by Left The Scene.

How To Get the Highway Patrol Report

Msgt R W Shaul of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210652473 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
