James Young Injured in a Crash on December 19, 2021 in Jefferson County, Missouri

James W Young of Fenton, MO was injured on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at 10:49PM in Jefferson County, Missouri. Young is a 25-year-old man.

The crash happened here: westbound Highway 30 east of Main Drive.

VEHICLE 1 WENT OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY AND DRIVER LAID THE BIKE DOWN. BIKE STRUCK THE GUARDRAIL AND DRIVER WAS EJECTED.

Young's injuries were moderate. Young was taken by Jefferson County Ambulance to Mercy South.

The police said the damage to the 2002 Suzuki Motocycle Gsx-R1000 driven by Young was total. It was removed by Towed To/By High Ridge Towing.

Cpl C J Mendez of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210660144 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
