Gregory Aucutt Injured in a Crash on December 15, 2021 in Jefferson County, Missouri

VEHICLE 1 WAS TRAVELING IN THE EASTBOUND LANE OF BIG HOLLOW ROAD. DRIVER 1 FAILED TO NEGOTIATE A CURVE TO THE RIGHT AND VEHICLE 1 BEGAN SLIDING ON THE WET PAVEMENT. VEHICLE 1 CROSSED THE DOUBLE-YELLOW CENTERLINE AND TRAVELED OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY. THE FRONT LEFT OF VEHICLE 1 STRUCK A NATURAL ROCK WALL, RETURNED TO THE ROADWAY AND CAME TO REST BLOCKING THE WB LANE.

Injuries

Aucutt's injuries were minor. Aucutt was taken by Joachim Plattin Ambulance District to Mercy Jefferson Hospital.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2011 Cadillac Cts driven by Aucutt was minor. It was removed by Towed To/By D And J Towing.

Cpl T H Ellison of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210651350 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
