Bomerschein's injuries were serious. Bomerschein was taken by St Charles County Ambulance District to Mercy Hospital St Louis.

The police said the damage to the 2006 Harley Davidson Softtail Standard driven by Bomerschein was moderate. It was removed by Towed To/By Crash City Towing.

The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report.
