A SECOND IMPACT OCCURRED AS VEHICLE 1 STRUCK A TREEE OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY. VEHICLE 1 CAME TO FINAL REST ON ITS LEFT SIDE, FACING EAST, OFF THE WEST SIDE OF THE ROADWAY.
Injuries
Schuler's injuries were minor. Schuler was taken by Lincoln County Ambulance District to Ssm Health St. Joseph Hospiatl - Lake St. Louis.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the damage to the 2017 Cadillac Xts driven by Schuler was extensive. It was removed by Towed To/By Wiegeman Service Towing.
How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
Tpr D L Holliday of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210395586 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
