VEHICLE #1 TRAVELED OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY AND OVERTURNED DOWN A STEEP EMBANKMENT, COMING TO REST ON ITS ROOF. DRIVER 1 PRONOUNCED ON SCENE AT 1513 HOURS ON 6-7-21 BY FRANKLIN COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPUTY JACQUIN.
Injuries
Diekmann's injuries were fatal. Diekmann was taken by Superior Medical Transport to St Louis County Morgue.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the damage to the 1982 Chevrolet S-10 driven by Diekmann was total. It was removed by Towed By/To Patriot Towing.
How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
Cpl R A Leclaire of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210282672 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
