Ashley Sturm Killed in a Crash on June 26, 2021 in Clark County, Missouri

Ashley J Sturm of Keokuk, IA was killed on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 12:20PM in Clark County, Missouri. Sturm is a 31-year-old woman.

FATALITY REPORT - NEXT OF KIN NOTIFIED. VEHICLE 1 TRAVELED OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY, STRUCK AN EMBANKMENT, AND OVERTURNED. SUBJECT PRONOUNCED DECEASED BY CLARK COUNTY CORONER ED WILSON AT THE SCENE ON 06/26/2021 AT 12:53 PM. ASSISTED BY THE CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT AND AMBULANCE, KAHOKA FIRE DEPARTMENT, AND WAYLAND FIRE DEPARTMENT.

Injuries

Sturm's injuries were fatal. Sturm was taken to Transported To Wilson Funeral Home, Kahoka, Mo.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2009 Ford Fusion driven by Sturm was total. It was removed by Towed By Brewer And Sons Wrecker.

Tpr Horrell of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210321359 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
