VEHICLE 3 WAS IN LANE TWO BEHIND VEHICLES ONE AND TWO. DRIVER 2 WAS FOLLOWING TO CLOSE AND FAILED TO KEEP A PROPER LOOKOUT. THE FRONT OF VEHICLE 2 STRUCK THE REAR OF VEHICLE 1. VEHICLE 1 BEGAN TO SLIDE AND THE FRONT LEFT SIDE OF VEHICLE 3 STRUCK THE RIGHT SIDE OF VEHICLE 2. BOTH VEHICLES BEGAN TO SLIDE AND VEHICLE 2 GOT LODGED IN THE LEFT SIDE OF VEHICLE 3'S TOWED UNIT. VEHICLE 2 TRAVELED OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY AND STRUCK THE CONCRETE MEDIAN BARRIER.
Injuries
Camarena's injuries were minor. Camarena was taken by Northeast Fire Protection to Barnes Jewish Hospital.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the damage to the 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Dillingham was extensive. It was removed by Towed By/To A And A Towing. The damage to the 2013 Cadillac Xts driven by Camarena was extensive. It was removed by Towed By/To A And A Towing. The damage to the 1998 International F-9370 driven by Miller was minor. It was removed by Towed By/To Petroff Towing.
How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
Tpr K G Barba and Fro Tpr Z C Kral of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210172435 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
