Darlis Jones Injured in a Crash on October 16, 2020 in St. Francois County, Missouri

Darlis L Jones of Ironton, MO was injured on Friday, October 16, 2020 at 10:30AM in St. Francois County, Missouri. Jones is a 68-year-old woman.

DRIVER 1 HAD A MEDICAL EPISODE CAUSING VEHICLE 1 TO TRAVEL OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY. VEHICLE 1 STRUCK A CULVERT PIPE AND BECAME AIRBORNE, STRUCK THE GROUND AND BECAME AIRBORNE AGAIN THEN STRUCK A TREE.

Injuries

Jones's injuries were minor. Jones was taken by St Francois County Ems to Parkland Hospital Farmington.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2002 Ford Explorer driven by Jones was total. It was removed by Customs Auto Pilot Knob.

Tpr D M Dooley of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 200518618 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
