CRASH OCCURRED AS VEHICLE #1 ATTEMPTED TO OUT RUN A TRAIN. DRIVER #1 WENT UNDER THE CROSSING GATE. THE GATE STRUCK DRIVER #1, AND HE LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE, WENT OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY, STRUCK A DITCH, AND WAS EJECTED. THE DRIVER WAS ARRESTED BY BARRY COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT FOR DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED.

Injuries

Henson's injuries were serious. Henson was taken by Ambulance to Cox Hospital Monett, Mo.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2007 Yamaha 450 Atv driven by Henson was minor. It was removed by Released To Driver'S Sister.

Tpr L Wilson of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 200344323 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
