Dariyn Pettit Injured in a Crash on July 19, 2020 in Daviess County, Missouri

Dariyn R Pettit of Gallatin, MO was injured on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at 10:35AM in Daviess County, Missouri. Pettit is a 19-year-old woman.

CRASH OCCURRED VEH#1 WAS EASTBOUND ON RTE V. DVR#1 SWERVED TO MISS A DEER IN THE ROADWAY. DVR#1 OVERCORRECTED AND WENT OFF OF THE SOUTH SIDE OF RTE V AND OVERTURNED. VEH#1 CAME TO REST OFF OF THE ROADWAY ON ITS DRIVER'S SIDE FACING WEST. ASSISTED BY DAVIESS COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, DAVIESS COUNTY EMS AND LIFE FLIGHT EAGLE.

Injuries

Pettit's injuries were minor. Pettit was taken by Lifeflight Eagle to Truman Medical Center.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2009 Ford Focus driven by Pettit was extensive. It was removed by Driven From The Scene.

How To Get the Highway Patrol Report

Cpl M J Miller of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 200345447 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
