PASSENGER 1 GRABBED THE STEERING WHEEL OF VEH 1 AND OVERCORRECTED. VEH 1 RETURNED TO ROAD AND TRAVELLED OFF THE EAST SIDE OF THE ROADWAY AND STRUCK A DITCH. VEH 1 CONTINUED UP AN EMBANKEMNT AND BECAME AIRBORN AS IT CROSSED THE OFF RAMP. VEH 1 STRUCK THE GROUND IN THE SECOND DITCH BEFORE COMING TO REST OFF THE EAST SIDE OF THE ROADWAY ON ITS WHEELS FACING EAST. ASSISTED BY HARRISON COUNTY AND NTA AMBULANCE.
Injuries
Chaudhary's injuries were minor. Chaudhary was taken by Nolte Adams Ambulance District to Harrison County Hospital.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the damage to the 2015 Jeep Cherokee driven by Chaudhary was minor. It was removed by Towed By Southside.
How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
Tpr D M Wilburn of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 200320288 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
