Matei Pop Killed in a Crash on May 3, 2020 in Christian County, Missouri

Matei Pop of Springfield, Missouri was killed on Sunday, May 3rd 2020 at 9:40 am in Christian County, Missouri. Pop is a 23-year-old man.

FATALITY REPORT - NEXT OF KIN NOTIFIED - THIS IS TROOP D'S 34TH FATALITY FOR 2020 -- CRASH OCCURRED AS THE VEHICLE FAILED TO NEGOTIATE A CURVE, TRAVELLED OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY, THROUGH THE MEDIAN, ACROSS THE SOUTHBOUND LANES AND STRUCK A ROCK BLUFF. THE DRIVER WAS PRONOUNCED DECEASED AT THE SCENE AT 1003 HOURS ON 05-03-2020 BY DR. MANNING OF COX HOSPITAL.

Pop's injuries were fatal. Pop was taken by The Christian County Coroner to the Coroner's office.

The police said the damage to the 2008 Lexis Is 250 driven by Matei Pop was total. It was removed by Ozark Auto.
