Heath Wadkins Killed in a Crash on December 14, 2019 in Texas County, Missouri

Heath L Wadkins of Mtn, MO was killed on Saturday, December 14th 2019 at 6:14 am in Texas County, Missouri. Wadkins is a 30-year-old man.

FATALITY ACCIDENT NEXT OF KIN NOTIFIED CRASH OCCURRED AS VEHICLE 1 [THE 2000 JEEP WRANGLER DRIVEN BY TANNER BEASLEY] TRAVELED OVER THE CENTERLINE INTO THE PATH OF VEHICLE TWO CAUSING VEHICLE 1 [THE 2000 JEEP WRANGLER DRIVEN BY TANNER BEASLEY] TO OVERTURN. BOTH VEHICLES CAME TO REST OFF THE ROADWAY. THE PASSENGER IN VEHICLE NUMBER TWO WAS PRONOUNCED DECEASED AT 0834 HOURS BY TEXAS COUNTY CORONER MARIE LASATER AT THE ACCIDENT SCENE AND TRANSPORTED TO THE TEXAS COUNTY JUSTICE CENTER. TROOP G FATALITY #41 COMPARED TO #37 THIS SAME TIME LAST YEAR. ASSISTED BY TPR. M K EDEN (1326) MSHP MAJOR CRASH INVESTIGATION UNIT, CPL. T R NELSON (655), TPR. J M KENYON (1213) AND TPR. M BARRON (122).

Fatal Injuries

Wadkins's injuries were fatal. Wadkins was taken to Texas County Coroner.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2000 Jeep Wrangler driven by Tanner Beasley was total. It was removed by Gentleman Jims. The damage to the 2005 Chrysler Touring driven by Jessica Messex was total. It was also removed by Gentleman Jims.

How To Get the Highway Patrol Report

Master Sergeant S N Foster of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 190723276 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $5.75 for each certified report (certification required for court). But you can call 877-925-1969 to request a free copy of the report. The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted or blacked out.
