VEHICLE 1 [THE 2011 NISSAN ROGUE DRIVEN BY WILLIAM FILES] SLID BACK INTO LANE 2 AND STRUCK THE LEFT REAR TIRE OF VEHICLE 2 [THE 2018 FREIGHTLINER DRIVEN BY DANIEL GEORGE]. VEHICLE 1 [THE 2011 NISSAN ROGUE DRIVEN BY WILLIAM FILES] THEN TRAVELED OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY, STRUCK THE CONCRETE MEDIAN WALL A SECOND TIME, OVERTURNED, AND CAME TO REST ON ITS ROOF IN LANE 1. DRIVER 3 ATTEMPTED TO STOP AND THE FRONT OF VEHICLE 3 [THE 2007 CHEVROLET MALIBU DRIVEN BY SETH MITCHELL] STRUCK THE LEFT SIDE OF VEHICLE 1 [THE 2011 NISSAN ROGUE DRIVEN BY WILLIAM FILES]

Injuries

Files's injuries were moderate. Files was taken by Rock Township Ambulance District to St. anthony's Medical Center.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2011 Nissan Rogue driven by William Files was total. It was removed by Ives Towing. The damage to the 2018 Freightliner driven by Daniel George was minor. The damage to the 2007 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Seth Mitchell was minor.

Trooper A S Huskey of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 180108946 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $5.75 for each certified report (certification required for court). But you can call 877-925-1969 to request a free copy of the report. The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted or blacked out.
